The club of Serbian businessmen in Austria continued the tradition and organized a monthly gathering of businessmen from all over the country as part of their regular activities, where they could learn from experts how to overcome various challenges in business. In a direct conversation with experts, Serbian businessmen are already used to solving all doubts, difficulties and problems they face in business at this gathering.

It is not surprising then that they gather in large numbers every time, because good advice is always “worth its weight in gold”, especially when it comes from expert people, ready to help compatriots to further develop their businesses.

Borislav Kapetanović, a member of the management of the Club of Businessmen, says that every gathering has a different topic for discussion. The guests are experts in charge of certain topics and problems that plague our businessmen in Austria.

– This month, the meeting was about the tax problems faced by our businessmen and the financing of companies, so this time we had two experts, Aleksandra Milinković and Saša Đurić – he said.

On the subject of tax administration control, the lecture was given by tax adviser Saša Đurić, MA, who explained to businessmen whether and in what way the Austrian Tax Administration can make direct calls without their personal accountants. Businessmen were also interested in how the company should prepare the paperwork for possible tax control.

Given that lately it is increasingly difficult to finance certain projects that companies want to implement, Aleksandra Milinković, an expert from Rajfajzen Bank, spoke about this topic.

– She explained what all needs to be prepared in order for the bank to agree to finance a project of a company. We talked about the participation of companies, interest rates, the way and reason for the increase in interest rates, whether there are expectations that interest rates will be lower – stated Kapetanović.

He added that the lectures, suggestions and advice on both topics were extremely useful for businessmen.

“There was an open positive discussion and they received quality answers from experts who enabled everyone to be able to contact them at any time in case of need, help with problems or projects,” Kapetanović said.

A new meeting in November

After the official presentation, a gathering of Club members was organized. The next meeting of businessmen with experts from some other fields important for their business has already been announced for the beginning of next month.
