Nothing skipped the launch of its flagship smartphones this year, and its last high-end model, the Phone (2), was announced in 2023. Now, the successor of this device has appeared on a benchmarking platform. This has revealed the chipset powering the upcoming Nothing Phone (3), so let’s take a look at it.
The new smartphone was spotted on the GeekBench platform (via 91Mobiles) carrying the model number A059. This model is believed to be Nothing Phone (3) which will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 and 8 GB RAM. With this processor, the company scored 1149 points in the single-core test and 2813 points in the multi-core test.
This may seem strange since the Nothing Phone (2) is a high-end device with Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor. Therefore, it is conceivable that Nothing will return to a mid-range phone in Phone (3), similar to Phone (1). However, this might just be the standard model of the Phone (3) series.
Based on what we know so far, the launch of the Nothing Phone (3) could possibly be delayed until 2025.
