Martyn Brownveteran of the video game industry, passed away at the age of 57 on December 28, 2024, surrounded by his family. His career, which has spanned more than 35 years in the world of video games, has seen this co-founded Team17 in 1990, where he contributed to the creation of over 50 video games including the famous series Worms e Alien Breed.

Simon Barratt, CEO of Cooperative Innovations, remembers Brown not just for his professional impact, but for his humane and welcoming spirit that made life “a bit more fun”.
The video game sector is therefore crying the passing of a true innovator, a generous mentor and charismatic personality whose actions and spirit will live on through the work and values he instilled.
By his sons Jack, Harry and stepdaughter Darcy, and his wife Heather, Martyn Brown is remembered as a loving father and loving husband. His passing marks the end of an era but also the celebration of a life lived with passion and dedication.
