As confirmed, the Pixel 9 Pro Fold has the slowest wired charging support of all the Pixel 9s. It has a power of only 21W and this unfortunate number was finally confirmed directly today by Google.
So, with this context in mind, it’s no surprise that the search giant’s second foldable smartphone takes this long to charge. If you’re wondering why Google resorted to this, especially when the Pixel 9 Pro XL goes up to 37W while the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro support 27W, the answer is that Google hid every detail here.
To add another dose of bitterness, let’s say that the Pixel 9 Pro Fold’s wireless charging is enough only at 7.5 W, just like the original Fold and in case you forgot – this is the most expensive Pixel 9 and has the slowest charging for this year.
