Google Contacts made better an offer for a contact operation. This was previously called up using the three-dot menu in the upper right corner and was displayed as a pull-out menu. The three dots icon is now replaced more modern icon of the gear wheel, symbolizing the setting and instead of the exit menu you just shifts to the bottom of the screen. This is where these functions have been moved.
These are operations as is sharing, default data, ringtone settings, add to desktop, move to another account a deletion. The new menu is clearer and, for example, you can immediately see what ringtone is set. It can be expected that the icon that takes us to the menu will be removed sooner or later, as it is no longer needed at all.
The new user interface is available in version 4.44.31.692334116. It was not offered to download automatically, after manual installation the application is in English, even though the phone is set to Czech. Google probably hasn’t finished localization yet. If you don’t mind English and feel comfortable installing the app using sideloading, you can download the installation package from the website. In general, however, we recommend waiting a whilewe tested the app ourselves on a Pixel 8a test phone with Android beta.
