Artificial intelligence has already made its way into the Google Docs online application. In this case, it allows you to generate images directly in the open document.
If you’re an active Google Docs user, you might be interested in a brand new feature that allows you to generate images using artificial intelligence right in the app. This feature is only available to users with an active subscription such as Gemini Business, Gemini Enterprise, Gemini Education, Gemini Education Premium or Google One AI Premium.
How about that?
- Open the document and go to the menu Insert.
- Select an option Cover Image > Help me create an image.
- Enter a description of the image you want to create and choose a visual style or format.
- The artificial intelligence will generate several suggestions in a few seconds. You simply choose the most suitable one from them. If none of the suggestions fit, you can repeat the process or refine the description.
Availability
The feature was made available to the first group of users from November 16, 2024. If you don’t have it yet, don’t worry – Google plans to make it widely available from December 16, 2024. Important note: This feature is only available to users with an active subscription to the programs listed. Without it, image generation will not be possible.
