Google Bard AI has become Gemini. At the same time as the name change, a mobile application was also created, which not only enables text communication with a chatbot, as we know it from the competitor ChatGPT, but also gradually replaces Google Assistant. Precisely in connection with voice communication now hell has kind of frozen over: Gemini can now fully communicate in Czech (v To the community reader Gwakari brought this to our attention).
Gemini as an app for Android smartphones has only recently arrived in the Czech Republic. Until the beginning of June, it was not available on Google Play in our region, so you could only install it from unofficial sources. Already at that time, however, the chatbot was capable of communicating in our language, primarily in text. With voice input in Czech (she also controlled the output earlier) but she will be able to handle it today.
Google Gemini in Czech is not a problem either more complex linguistic features such as diacritics. Do you want to use artificial intelligence to find, for example, the location of Čeňkova street? Not a problem! That is, until now, before the AI did not understand you and you had to explicitly write it in Czech in the text field.
