Google has released three new features to protect stolen Android devices

The tools were announced earlier this year and are meant to help users quickly lock down stolen devices to prevent access to sensitive information.

According to journalist Mishaal Rahman, the first two functions have been detected on the Xiaomi 14T Pro model, and the Remote Lock function has started to be available for some Pixel phone users.

Theft Detection Lock activates when the device is taken from the user’s hands. Google explained that this feature uses artificial intelligence to detect sudden movements, such as running, riding a bike or driving a car, and automatically locks the phone’s screen.

Offline Device Lock automatically locks the screen after the phone is disconnected from the Internet, and Remote Lock offers the ability to lock the device remotely without the need to enter the Google account password.
