Founded in Israel and now based in New York, Wiz provides cloud-based cybersecurity solutions with real-time threat detection and, of course, artificial intelligence.
Last year, Wiz had sales of around $350 million. In a recent investment round, the company was valued at $12 billion. It has 900 employees.
The founders of Wiz met in the army, specifically in unit 8200, which handles cyber security within the IDF. After leaving the army, they founded a company together (as is common in Israel).
Wiz collaborates and delivers solutions for a number of large companies (it boasts a share of 40% of Fortune 100 companies) such as Amazon or Microsoft.
