Google Maps with a practical fix. You will be happy with this change

Google Maps regularly delivers layers upon layers of changes and fixes. This time the platform improves the readability of… weather!

Weather more readable on Google Maps

Although checking the current weather nowadays is an extremely simple task and can be done simply in a browser window directly in the Google search engine, the giant knows how important these small-big changes are. That’s why a few months ago, information about the current weather appeared on Google Maps. Now the giant has decided to further improve them to make using the function even more convenient!

So far, weather information appeared in the upper left corner of the application – just below the buttons with various places that we can find in our area. Now they are moved just above the bottom menu – to the nearby news tab. This is a seemingly small change, but it undoubtedly makes the whole thing not only more readable, but also the upper part of the application is not as cluttered as before. From now on, the weather for the place we are searching for will simply appear in the card – on the right side at the top.

The changes Google is working on for Maps are still in the test version. For now, they have been implemented for users of the beta version of the application (11.151.x) – so we will have to wait a while for their implementation for everyone. Still, it’s nice to see that Google is constantly working on fixes that take care of the user experience in such an extensive application. They do their best to make everything legible and easy to use.
