Just recently we brought you the information that Google Messages will bring three new functions that will greatly simplify our communication, and we already have another improvement. In RCS reports a popular and quick reaction has been added: you “heart” it by double-tapping.
We know this reaction from Messenger, Instagram or other communication applications. With a heart you can mark not only the message from the sender, but also yours, i.e. the text written by you. No other emoticons are available yet, i.e. not even a thumb or a sad smiley. However, this may change over time.
In order to send hearts through Messages, you don’t need to update the app. Google added the function on its servers. The news should already be available to all users who have active RCS messages.
