As winter arrives, and with it the cold, so does the season of colds, and in our fast-paced world we don’t have time to get sick. We almost already acknowledge in advance that we will be forced into room confinement once or twice, even though we don’t have to lose a single moment due to a cold… We should rather prepare for the fight! The secret lies in prevention, and if trouble does happen, choose remedies that combine science with ingredients inspired by nature.

Although winter seems to be our harshest season, autumn is more dangerous when it comes to colds. During the day, we still feel the last rays of the summer sun, but in the evening it can be even 10-15 degrees cooler, which affects our body in no time.

And we tend to take coughs and colds lightly – especially during this especially busy autumn period – even though they can have serious complications later. Do we want to live every breath? This can’t be such a big ask from life! However, when it comes to medicines, it is worth giving preference to those that have been created through a unique combination of science and nature.

But what should we use when?

  • When we feel that the disease begins to break out on usit is worth turning to hot drink powders; today there are also varieties flavored with lemon, which can be said to be almost delicious. They are suitable for relieving fever and pain, or even for a chronic cough, but make sure to choose a drink powder with a minimum sugar content.
  • For dry cough on the other hand, syrups and lozenges are more effective, of which those flavored with honey may be the most suitable for the throat.
  • In case of nasal congestion in addition to eucalyptus nasal spray, inhalation is also a great option: add menthol or eucalyptus to boiled water, a towel on your head, and you can now lean into the beneficial steam. To the delight of many, it is great news that the pharmaceutical preparation is available again in Hungary, which helps easier breathing when applied to the chest for up to 8 hours, so you can sleep a whole night, if you have a cold here and there, you can wake up rested in the morning.

So the season of fighting colds has begun. And how quickly we overcome the symptoms that make even the most beautiful days bitter is up to us. Let’s be aware of the power of the active ingredients, and we can get over the burden of the disease in a day or two!
