Government operationalizes 50 million Tourism+Sustainable line next week – Tourism & Leisure

The government will operationalize next week the new Tourism+Sustainable support line, worth 50 million euros, which will be managed by Banco Português de Fomento, the Economy Minister said today.

“Next week, we will implement, operationalize, the support line for sustainable projects, worth 50 million, which is very well designed in conjunction with Banco de Fomento, and then make it available via commercial banking”, said Pedro Reis at the 49th Congress of the Portuguese Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (APAVT), in Huelva, Spain.

According to the Turismo de Portugal page, Turismo+Sustentável is a line managed by Banco Português de Fomento (BPF) with an allocation of 50 million euros with mutual guarantee, in credit to support investments in the area of ​​environmental sustainability (energy management , water management, waste management, biodiversity).

The APAVT congress, which ends today, was attended by 750 congressmen from the tourism sector.
