Radovan Zdravković is a farmer who lives in the village of Batote on the slopes of Kopaonik. A few days ago, all of Serbia found out about him.
In the fire, which is suspected to have been started, he lost four barns, including 18 sheep and a sheepdog. Fortunately, together with their neighbors, they managed to save the cows and pigs. Grandpa Rado with tears in his eyes, he explained to the television cameras that this was all his possessions. Only a few days after the announcement on television, people raised enough money through charitable donations to not only rebuild four barns, but also to buy sheep.
Grandfather Rado once again cried in front of the television cameras, this time from emotion: “People helped me. I will distribute the rest of the money to the villagers, they also need help.”
