GravaStar’s unique looking metal mice have also entered the ultralight segment

GravaStar has once again presented a mouse with an “organic” design, which this time starts with a featherweight to win the favor of customers, as it weighs only 49 grams on the scales.

The 124.6 mm long, 59.2-63.5 mm wide, and 12-40.5 mm high, five-button solution was named the Mercury X, and its 0.8 mm thick, strongly perforated magnesium casing is today’s standard high-end it hides a sensor, the – in this case – PixArt PAW 3950 unit scaling up to 32,000 cpi. The sensor is separated from the outside world by a plastic element, which not only protects it from dust, but also allows something to float on the device in variable RGB lights.

Communication with the target device can be achieved with a 2.4 GHz radio, Bluetooth 5.1, and the included USB Type-C/Type-A cable for charging the 400 mAh battery, and the polling rate ceiling is 1000 Hz, however the there is also an 8000 Hz version listed as Mercury X Pro. The abdominal section that accommodates the PTFE pads does not lack a sensor ring that reduces cpi deviation, but the official website does not comment on the switches serving under the main clicks or the encoder of the roller. The software background is provided by the company’s web application.

In terms of colors, we have three options available from both versions; in addition to black and silver, there is also a Battle Worn-Yellow finish for a little extra, which is sure to attract a few curious glances.
