Eleonora Meleti: Elected coordinator of the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in the European Parliament
Eleonora Meleti received her first distinction in the European Parliament a few days after she was sworn in.
The journalist-presenter who was elected MEP with New Democracy last June, seems to have entered her new role with vigor.
More specifically, Eleonora Meleti she was elected coordinator of the Committee on Women’s Rights and Gender Equality in the European Parliament. This is a position that is very rarely taken by a first-time MEP.
