Together with the twenty-seven-year-old kayaker, Joseph Clarke from Great Britain also advanced from the opening race.

Eliška Mintálová did not advance to the quarterfinals of the kayak cross discipline. In Sunday’s opening race, she took the last fourth place.

Mintálova’s performance under the five rings ends, she fought her way to the final in the K1 discipline, in which she took ninth place.

Mintálova did not succeed in the “Eskimo” during the race, after which she had to catch up with her rivals.

At the first upstream obstacle, she reached second place, but the next battle slowed her down significantly.

Subsequently, she fought on the eighth gate for second place, but after getting wedged in her opponent’s boat, she gave up her efforts and rowed to the finish line in fourth place. The domestic Camille Prigentová and the Algerian Carole Diana Bouzidiová secured the promotion.
