Group exhibition of artists gathered around the Belgrade Sales Gallery

The works of eleven artists gathered in the Sale Gallery “Belgrade”, representatives of various creative practices (painting, drawing, graphics, photography, film, performance, video), make up the exhibition “Belgrade Then and Now Revisited”, whose author is Miroslav Sapundžić, an art historian, and will be open from October 10 to 28.

The exhibition thus consists of works by Branimir Karanović, Ivan Šuletić, Milivoje Miško Pavlović, Nebojša Jamasaki Vukelić, Tatjana Strugar, Srđan Veljović, Igor Simić, Milica Macanović, Katarina Jovanović Alfa, Nina Urošević and Maja Urošević.

-Individually questioning the contemporary spirit and dominant atmosphere of the city, its visual matrices and processes of change, the works of artists concentrated in one exhibition space also generate the possibility of mutual dialogue in open communication flows – writes the author in the announcement of the exhibition. – This multidirectional dialogue includes the gallery itself, its physical space, symbolic potential and position within the city system of the contemporary cultural scene.
