Promotion plus agency has announced sales results for 2024. In the first place in terms of car sales in Croatia is Škoda (8412 vehicles, 13.18 percent of the market), in second place is Volkswagen (7417 vehicles, 11.62 percent of the market), and in third place is Renault (4583 vehicles, 7.20 percent of the market) ).
They are followed by Toyota, Suzuki, Opel, Dacia, Hyundai, Kia and in tenth place as a premium manufacturer – Audi.
The best-selling car is Škoda Octavia (4131 vehicles), followed by Volkswagen T-Cross (2335 vehicles) and Suzuki Vitara (2038 vehicles). After them, there are Renault Clio, Opel Corsa, Dacia Duster, Volkswagen Tiguan, Renault Captur, Suzuki SX4 and Hyundai Tucson in tenth place.
Gasoline cars are still the most popular (a total of 30,535 vehicles sold), followed by hybrids (19,263 vehicles) and diesels (10,685 vehicles). Electric vehicles accounted for only three percent of the market, i.e. 1,915 vehicles sold. The strongest brand there is Tesla with 601 vehicles sold.
Finally, in 2024, a total of 63,805 new vehicles were sold in Croatia, which is an increase compared to 2023, when 56,697 cars were sold.
