Gulli takes action against bullying at school

On the occasion of the National Day Against Bullying at School on November 7, the Gulli channel “recalls all its support and commitment to fight against this scourge” through the deployment of an awareness campaign.

While more than one student per class is, on average, affected by harassment at school, the Gulli channel has decided to tackle this subject head on by deploying an awareness campaign as the year approaches. National Anti-Harassment Day (November 7). “Our commitment against harassment is total. As the leading youth channel in France, we have a duty to raise awareness and protect one another. With this campaign, we want to give children a voice so that they can express themselves and understand each other. , support each other, and defend each other”says Philippe Bony, president of Gulli, in a press release.

A campaign created for children… and by children!

Since Wednesday September 25, three 35-second advertising films – entitled “Laz’clair”, “Chronoboss” and “Universalove” and directed by Laëtitia Bertheuil – have been broadcast on Gulli and all the antennas of the M6 Group, on the various networks channels and the M6+ streaming platform. “The message I wanted to convey with these films is that all children have the right to feel free, strong and safe. If the role of adults in both prevention and support is essential and central, I find it important not to minimize children’s abilities to revolt and assert themselves, whether for themselves or in the name of other children.”indicates the director in the press release.

Carried out with the support and supervision of Stéphanie Fourneraut, clinical psychologist for children, this campaign highlights the testimony of 14 children in CE2, CM1 and CM2, from the leisure center in the town of Esbly (Seine-et- Marl). These young ambassadors have, in fact, designed their own message to raise awareness among all other children and make their voices heard. For 2 months (last May and June), they participated in workshops and then in the filming of this campaign.

Increased visibility on November 7

On November 7, its visibility will be reinforced on Gulli, on its social networks (and in particular its YouTube channel) and on the M6+ platform through dedicated programs (documentaries In the heart of the college et Put an end to school bullyingthe TV movie Breathe with Calogero…). A making-of film (4.44′) of the campaign will also be broadcast on Gulli’s social networks for the occasion.

That same day, the channel will also mobilize on the ground, in Esbly (77) with the 14 students who participated in the campaign, 200 CM1, CM2 and 6th grade students from the town as well as elected officials and representatives (of the National Assembly, the Town Hall of Esbly, the Department of Seine et Marne, Val d’Europe Agglomération or even the Académie de Créteil…) to present the three advertising films, give children a voice and raise awareness more people on this worrying subject.
