Guns N’ Roses’ Slash’s stepdaughter’s cause of death revealed

The cause of death of Lucy-Bleu Knight, stepdaughter of Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, has been released by Los Angeles authorities. The autopsy results point to suicide.

Knight, who was the daughter of Perla Ferrar (Slash’s wife from 2001 to 2013), died on July 19 at the age of 25. No further information about her death was initially released and Knight’s family requested that “social media speculation be kept to a minimum as they grieve this devastating loss.”

The Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner has now issued a statement on the death of the businesswoman and tattoo artist: “According to the report released yesterday (August 29), the department “has determined the cause of death of Lucy-Bleu Knight, 25, to be hydrogen sulfide toxicity.” “The manner of death is suicide.”

Hydrogen sulfide is a colorless gas with a characteristic unpleasant odor, extremely toxic and denser than air. Inhalation of high concentrations of hydrogen sulfide can produce extremely rapid unconsciousness and death.
