Gwangyang Economic Agency, Review and Approval of Administrative Audit Plan – Asia Economy


The Gwangyang Bay Free Economic Zone Association (Chairman Kang Jeong-il, former South Jeolla Province Councilor) announced that it held the 144th Association Association Extraordinary Session on the 20th and deliberated and approved the 2024 Administrative Audit Plan (draft).

The administrative audit is scheduled to be conducted from October 29 to 31, and will be conducted with the aim of improving administrative efficiency and productivity by closely examining the overall operation of the Gwangyang Bay Free Economic Zone Authority, continuously supporting best practices, and correcting and improving any errors.

Chairman Kang Jeong-il said, “There are difficulties due to various economic issues such as increased exchange rate volatility and the U.S. economic slowdown, but I ask that everyone work together and do their best to achieve the business and investment attraction goals planned at the beginning of the year.”

In addition, Seon Yang-gyu, acting head of Gwangyang Bay Free Economic Zone Authority, said, “We will do our best to prepare for a substantive administrative audit and work hard to resolve major issues and achieve investment attraction goals to achieve meaningful results.”
