The union’s Gyeongnam headquarters claimed, “Public sentiment toward the government is cold and scary,” and added, “We have repeatedly demanded and warned that it should be changed and corrected, but the response is rejection and intimidation.”
“They ignore the people’s livelihood, manipulate government affairs, and suppress democracy,” he said, targeting union members and their families to get 150,000 people to vote in Gyeongsangnam-do.

The union said, “Starting on the 15th, all workplaces will participate in in-person and online voting,” and added, “Please hold up the stinging stick to prevent the government from ignoring workers and the people any longer.”
The voting is ongoing nationwide, centered around the Korean Confederation of Trade Unions, until December 7th.
