Haitai Confectionery (CEO Shin Jeong-hoon) announced on the 27th that it has launched two types of buttering ‘Dip Tiramisu’ and ‘Deep Red Velvet’, which contain winter cakes such as tiramisu and red velvet, in celebration of the year-end and New Year holidays.
The Buttering Dip series was created for customers who want a luxurious cookie taste. Cookies made with clean, natural Australian butter are upgraded to the next level by applying luxurious cream to make them taste like homemade bakery cookies.
This is the first time Buttering has introduced premium cookies as a winter season edition. As this is the first winter edition, the cake, a must-have item for year-end and New Year parties, was made with cookies. This is a limited edition with only 200,000 units available during the month of December.
Tiramisu is made with real taste and color with mascarpone cheese and coffee, which are essential ingredients in tiramisu. This Colombian coffee is characterized by a smooth taste and balanced acidity, and has a fragrant coffee aroma that can be felt even before eating. The cookie, which has turned black thanks to the addition of coffee beans, is reminiscent of tiramisu. Since it is decaffeinated coffee, anyone can easily enjoy it as a year-end party cookie.
Deep Red Velvet recreates the fantastic combination of red cake bread and white cream cheese, making it feel like a red velvet cake. The first red cookie to be introduced has a sweet red velvet cake flavor and a visual that exudes a Christmas feel at the end of the year.
In both editions, a thick layer of cream cheese made from eco-friendly Danish milk was applied to the bottom of the cookie to complete the simple and savory taste of tiramisu and the rich taste of red velvet.
An official from Haitai Confectionery said, “We put a Christmas wreath and tree in the package that gives off a holiday feel, making it feel like handmade cookies from a high-end dessert store,” and added, “The cake buttering will be a happy item that will help you enjoy a fun year-end party.”
