At around 5:32 am on the 10th, a fire broke out at a household waste disposal company in Gunbuk-myeon, Haman-gun, Gyeongsangnam-do.

Upon receiving the report, the fire authorities issued the first stage of response, mobilizing 2 to 4 nearby fire stations, and deployed 136 personnel, including 96 firefighters, and 38 pieces of fire-fighting equipment to the scene.

It was found that 80 tons of waste had been piled up inside and outside the factory at the time of the fire.

The first stage of fire response, which was issued at 5:57 a.m., was lifted at 7:11 a.m., and it is reported that there have been no casualties to date.

Firefighting authorities predicted that the fire that broke out on the side of the factory building would spread to the entire building and that it would take a long time to extinguish it as waste was burned.

In addition, we plan to investigate the exact cause of the fire and the extent of damage as soon as the fire is extinguished.
