Han Dong-hoon, the People Power Party’s party leader candidate, encouraged party members to vote on the 20th, saying, “The change we hope for starts with each and every one of your precious votes.”

One candidate posted on Facebook that day, “Only five hours left,” and said, “Many party members have participated so far (in the vote), but as of noon today, only 35.98% have voted. This is a drop of 6.07 percentage points compared to the same time at the convention last year.”

“Regardless of who you support, please vote,” he said. “The voter turnout is the desire of our party members for victory.”

He continued, “So now, each and every vote of our party members is important to the People Power Party,” and said, “Please tell the party members around you to vote.”

Han Dong-hoon said, “The change we desire begins with each and every one of your precious votes. Our People Power Party stands at the starting point for reflection, introspection, change, and the future,” adding, “We will devote our whole body and soul to the day when we all win. Please vote with your aspirations in mind.”

Meanwhile, according to the party’s election management committee, as of 2 p.m. on the second day of mobile voting, the mobile voting rate among party member electors was 37.96%, 6.65% lower than the simultaneous voting rate of 44.61% during the March 8th national convention last year.
