Hangul and Computer (CEO Seongjun Byun and Yeonsu Kim / hereinafter referred to as Hancom) signed MOUs related to digital transformation with major organizations and companies such as Gyeonggi Provincial Office, Korea Electric Power Corporation, and BGF Retail, and are conducting AI product demonstration projects (PoC) with dozens of companies. It was announced on the 18th that it is growing.

PoC is a project that optimizes Hancom’s AI products, such as Hancom Assistant, Hancom Pedia, and Hancom Data Loader, to suit the characteristics of each organization.

It is showing clear results in various aspects such as increased work efficiency, resource savings, and improved data quality.

In fact, in distribution companies that are conducting PoC, work efficiency between sales managers and MDs has been dramatically improved through Hancompedia. AI automates the questions and answers that were conducted on the existing Q&A bulletin board, reducing repetitive tasks and enabling real-time feedback.

One public institution used Hancompedia to innovatively improve its personnel and labor regulations and work manual confirmation process.

When executives and employees ask questions in natural language, AI immediately provides answers regarding related regulations, greatly helping new employees adapt to their jobs.

Hancompedia uses Search Augmented Generation (RAG) technology to generate answers based only on the customer’s internal documents, so there is no hallucination phenomenon. Another institutional example is also noteworthy. Through Hancom Pedia and Hancom Assistant, new employees can learn work manuals autonomously and quickly perform basic tasks such as writing reports.

An official said, “In this way, Hancom is contributing to accelerating digital transformation by innovating the actual work environment by using AI products to reduce repetitive tasks and seek process efficiency,” and added, “Once the PoC is successfully completed, the pilot project will transition from a pilot project to a formal business.” “We expect an increase in sales.”

Recently, Hancom achieved good performance by recording KRW 71.2 billion in consolidated sales and KRW 8.5 billion in operating profit in the third quarter, up 24.9% and 159.9%, respectively, from the same period last year. Hancom plans to officially launch all major AI products within the year and expand into various industrial fields centered on the AI integration brand Hancom BRAIN based on success stories.

Kim Yeon-soo, CEO of Hancom, emphasized, “We will continue to increase cooperation with more organizations and companies with Hancom’s unique AI products,” adding, “We will further solidify our market position by contributing to work efficiency such as public service innovation and corporate digital transformation.” did it
