In addition to traditional electronics, LG also brings a number of more expensive but very stylish pieces to this segment. For example, the StandbyME TV was obviously a success, as the next generation was shown at CES 2025.
The first version of this television was recognizable at first sight by a stylish stand, thanks to which the battery-powered television could be easily carried. The second generation got a textile strap instead of a stand, thanks to which the TV becomes, for example, a stylish picture on the wall.
The 27-inch 1440p touchscreen display now lasts for four hours and can still be mounted on a stand, but this time LG decided to graduate just its portability through the strap. You can throw the TV over your shoulder, hang it on the wall, or place the stand on a shelf.
Of course, this is still a very specific product for a narrow group of customers, for which LG has still not revealed a price or a release date. The first generation costs $1,000 on the official website.
