Recently, the corona numbers have risen again – at least regionally. The virus and how to deal with the pandemic is the topic of the first on Monday.
For many years, Frank Plasberg was the defining face of the Monday ARD talk show “Hart aber fair”. At the end of 2022, Plasberg said goodbye to the format and handed it over to Louis Klamroth. The production company Ansager & Schnipselmann continued for another year, but since 2024 the talk show has come from Florida. It is now clear: “Hard but Fair” will also be shown on ARD next year. Apparently they want to record linear, fewer episodes than before, but some content exclusively for the media library. ARD has not yet commented exactly.
On Monday the show will air after the 45-minute Hirschhausen documentary “Hirschhausen and the Long Shadow of Corona”. “Hard but Fair” starts at 9 p.m. and lasts 75 minutes.
“Hard but fair”: topic and guests on November 18th at 9 p.m
- Karl Lauterbach (SPD, Federal Minister of Health)
- Eckart von Hirschhausen (science journalist and doctor)
- Alena Buyx (medical ethicist)
- Heribert Prantl (author and columnist “Süddeutsche Zeitung”)
- Melanie Eckert (psychologist and co-founder of “Crisis Chat”)
- Elena Lierck (mother of a Long Covid patient)
- Klaus Stöhr (epidemiologist and virologist)
The topic of the show this time is: “The Corona trauma: What has the pandemic done to us?”
On Wednesday, users of the ARD media library will find the highlights of the program commented on by Louis Klamroth and supplemented by editorial content. The regular “Hard but Fair” program can be found in the media library shortly after the linear broadcast.
