Neymar should have no problems making a decent living after his career ends. His current employer Al Hilal pays him like in a fairy tale, but he was not in financial need even before leaving for Saudi Arabia.

Neymar during his time at the Paris club.
The Brazilian winger spent six years in the capital of France, where he played for Paris St. owned by rich sheikhs. Germain.
Even then, he was among the best-paid footballers on the planet, he transferred from Barcelona to PSG in 2017 for a then-record sum of 198 million euros.
He earned around 36 million a year in Paris, but there was a clause in his contract that allowed him to earn some decent money.
At least that’s what former youth talent Lewis Bryon, who worked in the youth academy of the English club Crystal Palace, said.
“He has the craziest clause in football that I’ve ever heard of,” Bryon said on the Ball Talk podcast. He learned about her, so to speak, first hand.
“When I was doing my coaching license, there was also a person from the PSG team with us. According to him, Neymar had a clause in his contract according to which he could receive an extra 200,000 euros after every game.
The condition was that after the meeting he went to the fans’ sector for a “thank you” and applauded them.
Throwing out an extra €200,000 after every game seems hard to believe even for a club as rich as PSG. The club did not comment on Bryon’s claims.
The Spanish Marca brought a similar message in 2021. However, according to it, applause alone was not enough for a nice bonus, the players also “had to be gallant, punctual and friendly”.
