After this, Harris gave a speech in which she accepted her election defeat.

Harris, who lost the US presidential elections on November 5, gave a speech to her supporters on the Howard University campus in Washington.

Accepting that they lost the presidential elections to his Republican rival Trump, Harris said “We need to accept the results of these elections. I spoke with President-elect Trump and congratulated him on his victory. I also told him that we would help him and his team to ensure that this transfer of power takes place peacefully.” he said.

Harris noted that their loyalty is to the Constitution, not Trump. “I accept that I lost these elections, but I am not giving up on our struggle that fueled this campaign.” he emphasized.

Arguing that they did a successful job during the election campaign, Harris thanked everyone who supported her and asked them to continue working for the values ​​they believe in.

In the presidential elections held on November 5 in the USA, Republican Trump passed 270 delegates and became the 47th president of the country.

Trump will officially take the oath of office on January 20, 2025.
