October 23 in the club Dim u Cetinjska 15 at 9 p.m. one of the most internationally awarded domestic fusion jazz ensembles Hashima will premiere a new repertoire before recording the group’s fourth album. Listeners will be able to hear new songs inspired by local folklore and dessert blues manner. Outstanding Bob is in charge of the visual identity of the concert, so we can expect the art of light play in harmony with the group’s music.
After the Hašima concert, at 11 p.m., a friend of the group, a multimedia artist Eegor will present an interactive performance entitled “Culture and Art in Serbia”.

From the very beginning, Hashima established a multimedia concert experience as a unique context for presenting her original music, so that at the concerts she enriched the music with video projections and light installations made especially for the group by the renowned video artist Izvanredni Bob. The music video for the song “Glaciers”, on which director Lazar Bodroža and DP Lazar Bogdanović worked, presented the aesthetics of Hashima to the audience through a video that you can watch on the YouTube platform.
Another important, perhaps the most ambitious undertaking of the group is the artistic video triptych “The Haywain Triptych” which was made by 3 animators: Jelena Bešir (Belgrade), Jeneleen Floyd (USA) and Ranko Trajković (Jagodina) and in which the three positions of the group are inspired by images Hieronymus Bosch, and represent the creation of the world, temptations, and the terrible judgment.
Grupa Hashima is a Belgrade original band that was created in 2014 and has released 3 albums so far. The group’s second album “The Haywain” was declared one of the 100 best jazz albums in the world by the most important New York jazz magazine “New York City Jazz Record”. The group was also declared one of the 5 best new jazz ensembles at the prestigious “Tremplin Jazz d’Avignon” competition. The group performed several times abroad on concert tours and festivals in Poland, Romania, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Hungary,… In 2023, the group was selected to be supported by the “Serbia Strava” platform as one of the most important domestic jazz projects.
