The idea of a Hong Kong startup is this home-made, miniature wind tunnel, where in reality we can perform “aerodynamic testing” that can only be seen by a select few.
In Fun-Tech-Lab’s device called Windsible, you can place matchboxes and model cars in 1:18, 1:24 and 1:64 scale – these come with individually sized “wind channels”.
The operation is basically simple: the built-in fan blows air on the small car placed under the plexiglass, for which a heating device generates smoke from the oil mixture in the cartridge that can be inserted into the machine. For the best possible view, the thin smoke strips illuminated with LEDs perfectly outline the flows around the vehicles.
The user can control the wind speed with a dial, up to 418 km/h. As for the smoke, or more specifically the liquid, according to the makers, it is not harmful to health, and one cartridge is enough for about 4 hours of operation. Refills must of course be purchased from them.

The project is currently a Kickstart collects the money of the supporters, those who get in now – provided that production finally starts – will be able to get the Windsible for 99, 159 or 239 dollars (35, 57 or HUF 85,000) depending on the size, while the later market prices They are priced at 239, 309 and 429 dollars (85, 110 and 154 thousand HUF).
They can come up with an even bigger model later.
