TMO has determined the purchasing prices of hazelnuts in shell for the 2024/2025 period.
The Soil Products Office (TMO) 2024/2025 period in-shell hazelnut purchasing prices have been determined.
Considering the ministry support, the purchasing prices for hazelnuts were 133 TL to 135 TL depending on the type.
The statement said:
“The prices determined were determined as follows before the harvest season in order to meet the storage and financing needs of hazelnut producers and to eliminate the problems that may arise from marketing.
2024/2025 season in-shell hazelnut purchase prices; Based on 50% intact hazelnuts;
For Levant quality 130 TL/Kg
For Giresun quality, it was determined as 132 TL/Kg.
When the area-based support that our Ministry will provide to producers is considered together with the fuel and fertilizer support, the average price for Levant quality will be 133 TL/Kg and for Giresun quality, it will be 135 TL/Kg.
Additionally, an additional price of 1.30 TL/kg will be given to high-yield hazelnuts (for every +1 yield over 50 yield).
TMO has completed all technical infrastructure, storage, personnel and financing preparations for hazelnut purchases.
Our producers will be in contact with TMO workplaces as of August 12th. www.tmo.gov.tr address and will be able to make appointments via e-government.
Purchases of in-shell hazelnuts will begin on August 19, and purchases will be made by appointment as in previous years.
Our producers must take utmost care to dry their products in order to avoid problems due to humidity when delivering products to TMO.”
