Did he go back in time and start his successful career again? From a video that has been circulating on social networks, it seems that the star track jumper Armand Duplantis is a teenager again. However, the reality is that it is the American Parker Owens, who, dressed as his idol, broke the world record in the under-14 category.

Everything pointed to it. Long dark hair, typical yellow-blue jersey of Sweden.
Owens dressed up like this at a rally called the Halloween bar and attracted attention around the world.
After he overcame the 495 cm high obstacle, euphoria of joy erupted from him.
The teenager, who was born in the state of Edwardsville, broke the previous record by two centimeters.
The video of his attempt has already been seen by hundreds of thousands of people.

“I was shocked. I have imagined that moment in my head so many times. I thought I would be terribly nervous. Then I got there and knew I could do it. I was one hundred percent sure,” said the young man in an interview with the Edwardsville Intelligencer newspaper.
Duplantis has Swedish roots but was born in the USA. He inherited his citizenship from his mother. He started jumping at the age of four at home in the garden and gradually broke world records in all categories.
Duplantis himself noticed Owens’ performance on the social network Instagram, where he left him an emoticon with applause.
Owens got into pole vaulting only a year ago, and quite curiously.
In high school, teachers asked students who would like to try. “I was the only one who raised my hand because I love adrenaline,” the future star of athletics says with a smile.
