Road accident on the western ring road of Milan near Settimo Milanese: a firefighter was involved in an accident. Unfortunately he died shortly after admission to hospital.

Today evening, Friday 27 December, it occurred a road accident on the western ring road of Milan and precisely at Settimo Milanese. The episode occurred at 8.30pm. A fifty-year-old man, a firefighter, was riding his motorbike when was involved in a multi-vehicle collision. He was rushed to hospital, but sadly died shortly after admission.
According to what was reported by the newspaper The Corriere della Sera, the firefighter had just finished his shift: he was in fact returning home on his motorbike. The dynamics is still unclear. The motorcyclist was involved in the collision between several vehicles for reasons yet to be ascertained. Emergency services were called immediately. The operations center of the Lombardy regional emergency emergency agency (Areu) sent health workers with two medical vehicles and an ambulance.
Doctors and paramedics moved the man in code red at the San Carlo hospital: he was already in cardiac arrest. Unfortunately he died shortly after his arrival. His identity is currently unknown. The police also intervened on site. The officers carried out all the necessary investigations to reconstruct the exact dynamics of the affair and ascertain any responsibilities.
