Spanish tennis player Rafael Nadal advanced to the finals of the clay tournament in Bastad, Sweden. In Saturday’s semi-final, he defeated Croatian Duje Ajduković in three sets 4:6, 6:3 and 6:4.
Thirty-eight-year-old Nadal thus reached the final of a tournament for the first time since 2022, when he won Roland Garros.
In the fight for the title, he will meet the seventh-seeded Portuguese Nuno Borges, who won over the Argentinian Thiago Agustin Tirant 6:3, 6:4.
