According to the indictment on February 12, 2023, the defendant visited several country entertainment venues, and after the fun night, he tiredly got behind the wheel to return home with his passenger.

However, in Szeged, the woman fell asleep, so she drove into an intersection without braking, exceeding the speed limit, where she did not give way to the bus coming from her right. The defendant hit the front of the bus with his car, causing the car to spin and knock over a traffic light.

Due to the force of the collision, the passenger of the car – who was not wearing his seat belt – fell out of the vehicle, suffering injuries that took eight days to heal.

The District Prosecutor’s Office accuses the accused of causing a road accident by negligence, and the District Court of Szeged will decide on his guilt.
