Florin Ștefan managed to score a spectacular goal in the match between Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe and Dinamo Bucharest and open the score. Unfortunately for Covasneni, the advantage brought by this was not enough to secure the three points. The “Dogs” came back from the locker room much more confident and dominated the game in the second half, managing to score the equalizing goal in the 74th minute, through Neagu.
At the end of the game, Florin Ștefan, the footballer from Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe, spoke about the evolution of the team but also about his career and the choices he made over the years. He confessed that he regrets signing with CFR Cluj and declared that he feels very good at Covăsneni, where he benefits from all the confidence he needs to demonstrate what he can do on the field.
“I think it’s a fair result. In the first half we dominated, in the second half, but I think in the first half we could have received a penalty, on that hand. In the second half, we wanted to score another goal, we wanted to score, but I couldn’t believe that I didn’t hold onto the ball like in the first half. I didn’t have any physical problems, I just didn’t hold onto the ball and it was difficult. We have a good start, we hope to get a win in the next game. I felt before the match I will score you and it was.
The people in this club give me confidence, in other places I didn’t have the chance to prove my worth, I think. I think I made a wrong step by going to CFR, but this was the decision and I accept it”, said Florin Ștefan, at the end of the game between Sepsi Sf. Gheorghe and Dinamo Bucharest.
The Bernd Storck-trained side have enjoyed a very good start to the season, recording two wins and a draw in the first three legs. On the other side, Dinamo Bucharest recorded one defeat, one win and one drawaccumulating a total of four points in the first three games played.
