He wouldn’t even be in the top six, the coach stated. Zvolen said goodbye to the Slovak defender – Extraliga – Hockey

Slovak hockey player Samuel Hain ended his career in HKM Zvolen just before the start of the new extra league season. The termination of the contract should have come after the mutual agreement of the coaches, the club management and the player.

The 27-year-old defenseman spent the past three seasons under Pustý hrad, playing 126 games in the regular season and adding 34 starts in the playoffs.

“We supplemented the defense where we needed it the most. Two defensive players arrived and naturally someone has to leave the squad.

The choice fell on Samuel, whose preparation was not ideal. He didn’t meet the expectations I had with him and dropped out of the top six,” said the “Knights” coach Martin Štrba for the club’s website.
