Funnier emails than the one that appeared in the inbox on Saturday morning could probably be imagined by all the Swedes who subscribe to Youtube Premium.
Google has decided to raise the prices of YouTube Premium, from SEK 119 a month to SEK 149 a month – an increase of just over 25 percent.
Youtube announced its price increase via email to customers.
For those with the family subscription, the percentage price increase is even more dramatic. Youtube Premium Family goes from SEK 179 a month to SEK 279 a month – an increase of over 55 percent.
New customers must pay the updated prices immediately, while existing customers must have received information in the sent email about when the change will come into effect for them.
