Hedin Mobility Group AB (publ) has completed the acquisition of IVECO’s Nordic distribution network from Iveco Group NV (EXM: IVG), which was announced in December 2023.
The transaction includes IVECO’s distribution and retail activities in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland.
The transaction strengthens Hedin Mobility Group’s position as a leading European distributor, while strengthening IVECO’s distribution network in the Nordic region. It involves the transfer of marketing and distribution activities for IVECO’s light commercial vehicles, medium and heavy trucks and minibuses, which are sold through the retail network in the four Nordic countries, including spare parts. The agreement also includes the acquisition of the retail activities at the IVECO-owned dealers in Sweden (Gothenburg, Helsingborg and Malmö), Norway (Bærum), Finland (Espoo) and Denmark (Odense).
IVECO’s range of commercial vehicles is currently available for sale and service throughout the Nordics through 35 dealers and over 100 workshops.
Anders Hedin, founder and CEO of Hedin Mobility Group, commented: “Through the strategic agreement with IVECO, we significantly improve our value proposition and strengthen our position as a leading European distributor. Based on the renewed IVECO offer, we look forward to starting the collaboration, strengthening the brand’s presence on the Nordic market and creating value for both existing and new customers going forward.”
