Messages sometimes arrive at inconvenient times. There is no time to waste time answering, and if you put it off, there is a high probability that you will forget to answer. The problem can be solved using automation.
This script is for the application Teams will be triggered by incoming messages from selected users and offer a quick response or create a reminder that you need to respond to the interlocutor.
How to set up a quick reply to messages
1. Download the free app Teams.
2. Download command via link.
3. Go to the tab Automation and create new automation.
4. Specify the condition Messagein the next step, select which messages the automation will trigger for. These can be messages from selected users or containing specific text. You can specify a space as the text, then the automation will work for almost all messages.
5. Be sure to check the option Immediate launch.
6. In the next step select New automationthen specify Run quick command and add the command Reply or reminder.
7. Expand the action parameters, click the button Select variable and indicate Command Input. Then tap again Command Input and select Content.
8. Click Done to maintain automation.
How does this automation work?
Now, when you receive a message from the specified senders or with the specified text, a dialog box will appear with two actions: reply now or set a reminder.
In the first case, the iPhone will record a voice message, convert it into text and send it to the interlocutor.
In the second case, the system will offer to create a reminder for the specified date.
This way you won’t forget to reply to the message.
