Hemofarm and the University of Belgrade together in the promotion of sustainable development in Serbia
The University of Belgrade and the Hemofarm company signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the organization of an exhibition on sustainable development and the promotion of ESG initiatives in Serbia.
The memorandum was signed by Vladan Đokić, rector of Belgrade University, and Ronald Zeliger, general manager of Hemofarm, in the Rectorate.
By signing this memorandum, the Hemofarm company and the University of Belgrade agreed, among other things, on the joint organization of a seven-day ESG festival in the Student City in Belgrade from October 22 to 27, 2024, where the first multimedia interactive exhibition dedicated to sustainable development will be presented. “STADA Expo”.
The rector of the University of Belgrade said that this Festival will enable the students of the University of Belgrade to raise awareness and understanding of sustainable development, as well as improve cooperation between academic, business and social communities.
“I invite all students, as well as the general public, to visit this exhibition, in order to see something they haven’t had the opportunity to see in our country so far. This exhibition is at a very high technological level, and in some way conceived so that it is as close as possible to the visitors. “I think it is a real opportunity for our students to get acquainted with the latest achievements in the field of technological development, and above all to raise their awareness and knowledge about sustainable development,” Đokić pointed out.
The general director of Hemofarm emphasized that the company has been working on sustainable development for many years.
“We are very proud that the University of Belgrade decided to form a partnership with us. We are expecting an excellent ESG festival next week in the Student City, organized by Hemofarm and the University of Belgrade, and I invite as many students as possible to visit this festival, but also all other citizens, representatives of other companies, as well as numerous organizations that are interested in learning about sustainable development in action,” said Zeliger.
The ESG Festival, organized by the Hemofarm company and with the support of the University of Belgrade, will be organized in the Student City in New Belgrade from October 22 to 27.
As part of the Festival, numerous panels, round tables and workshops will be organized, in which representatives of numerous companies, media and organizations will take part, and a multimedia display dedicated to sustainable development will be exhibited on the plateau of the Student Town.
