Hennessey has released its most powerful manual transmission car: Meet the new Venom F5-M

The American manufacturer presented the most powerful car equipped with a manual transmission in history. The Hennessey Venom F5-M develops 1,842 hp and uses a 6-speed manual transmission.

The American tuner based in Texas presented its new project. With a history of over 30 years in car tuning, Hennessey has also become a manufacturer that builds one of the most powerful hypercars in the world, and with the Venom F5 it wants to reach 500 km/h.

Now the Americans at Hennessey have revealed the new Venom F5-M, the most powerful car equipped with a manual transmission in the world, with 1,842 developed by a twin-turbo V8. The new model will be an exclusive one, intended only for the most passionate of customers. The manufacturer states that only 12 manual transmission examples will be built. Additionally, all 12 examples have already been sold, each with a base price of $2.65 million.

From the outside, the Hennessey Venom F5-M Roadster with manual transmission is distinguished from the Venom F5 Roadster with semi-automatic transmission by the dorsal fin that extends 1.4 meters from the air intake located just above the cabin.

The interior features a redesigned center console that houses an aluminum shifter with a carbon fiber nut and an aluminum steering wheel guide. The exterior paint has also been updated for this manual transmission version.

To work properly with the new manual gearbox, the twin-turbocharged 6.6-litre V8 engine has been recalibrated. Thus, the engineers helped the 1,842 hp engine to work better with the new gear ratios.

All power is sent to the rear wheels in a manner that Hennessey describes as “devastating”. In addition, we must not forget that the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder holds the speed record for a convertible car. In 2026, that model reached 427.6 km/h.
