Not everyone is equal when it comes to getting their driving test, and some people are more likely to fail it than others!
Getting your driving test is not always fun, and sometimes it is even very difficult.
First names more likely to fail their driving test
Indeed, you must first succeed in obtaining the Highway Code, before hoping to move on to practice. Then, it is obviously not over, since you must then pass the driving license exam with flying colors to finally be able to take the wheel alone. And all this is obviously not a walk in the park, far from it. But it would seem that we are not all equal when faced with this test. This is precisely what has been noted In the car Simonea state-approved and fully digitalized driving school. The latter has just published the unflattering ranking of first names with the lowest success rate for the driving test. This study, covering the period 2023-2024, is based on an analysis of the performance of all candidates registered with this platform. To ensure the reliability of the results, only first names with at least 30 candidates were included. But then who are the ones most at risk of failing their exam? That’s what we’ll see below!
Common first names
First place in this ranking among men goes to Antoine, with an alarming failure rate of 53.33%. This statistic could well fuel some friendly mockery, or at least push the Antoines to be extra vigilant during their next attempts to pass their driving test. Just behind, the Thomases occupy second place with a failure rate of 43.33%, or ten points less. Finally, in third place, the Hugos display a failure rate of 41.94%. On the women’s side, the first name Clara stands out with an impressive failure rate of 70%. Is it a question of stress, self-confidence or simply an unfortunate coincidence? Just behind, the Maries display a failure rate of 65.62%, while the Manons close this unenviable podium with a failure rate of 63.64%. A result which, despite everything, gives them a one in three chance of getting their license, which is far from hopeless, and which is even quite encouraging despite everything!
But the success of the license is mainly explained by a host of parameters, and the first name is generally not one of them!
