The German manufacturer is opening the order book for the new Volkswagen Caravelle in France, which is sold from €56,160.

The seventh generation of the VIP shuttle Volkswagen Caravelle is now available to order in France.

Only one finish and two engines available

For its launch in France, the new Caravelle is marketed with one finishbaptized Life. It is equipped with numerous standard equipmentsuch as LED headlights with Light Assist high beam control, Lane Assist lane keeping assistant, cruise control with predictive speed limiter, rear parking assist, vehicle assistance autonomous emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist detection, with evasion assistance and steering assistance, the Digital Cockpit, the car radio with 13-inch color touch screen and wireless App-Connect, the multifunction leatherette steering wheel , cabin air conditioning with automatic adjustment, central locking with Keyless Start (without Safelock), 16-inch “Montreal” light alloy wheels in Silver, 3 individual seats in the 2nd row of seats and 3-seater bench seat in the 3rd row of seats, or 2 USB sockets in the cabin and 6 USB sockets in the passenger compartment.

Volkswagen Caravelle: details of prices and versions

For the launch, the catalog offers the choice between two 2.0 liter TDI diesel engines of 150 and 170 horsepower.
With a short wheelbase (L1) of 3.10 meters, or 5.05 meters in total length, the 2.0 TDI of 150 hp associated with a 6-speed manual gearbox is displayed from 56,160 euros. The 2.0 TDI with 150 hp associated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox is offered from 58,500 euros.
These two versions are also offered with 4Motion all-wheel drive: the 2.0 TDI 4Motion of 150 hp associated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox is marketed from 62,600 euros, while the 2.0 TDI 4Motion of 170 hp associated with a 8-speed automatic gearbox is priced from 64,100 euros.
Add 960 euros more to these different prices to obtain a long wheelbase version (L2) of 3.50 meters, or 5.45 meters in total length.
As standard, the new Caravelle is available in 8 places (2 seats in the front, 3 individual folding seats in the 2nd row and a 3-seater fixed bench in the 3rd row), but as an option, it can offer 9 seats thanks to a 2-seater bench in the front.

THE Volkswagen e-Caravelle 100% electric will be offered later on order: they will develop 136 hp or 286 hp, and will be associated with a 64 kWh battery.
