A PC configuration for gaming for less than €1,000: this is the challenge that PC Componentes gave us for Black Friday. So, mission accomplished?
The most important thing for a PC configuration is its balance. Processor cadence, amount of RAM, graphics card power and hard drive writing speed must be in tune. The risk if this is not the case? The bottleneck effect of a component less efficient than the others which drags the entire configuration down.

The choice of components
For the graphics card, the choice is quite obvious. Compared to the GeForce 4060 Ti is, in fact, the best value for money at the moment. It allows you to benefit from the latest technological advances from Nvidia for less than €400: DLSS 3, AV 1 encoding, consumption and measured heating are on the menu of this excellent model. Players were not mistaken, since it is the third most popular graphics card widespread on Steam (after the 3060 and the 4060 mobile).
On the processor side, you have to turn to the safe bet from the manufacturer AMD: le Ryzen 7 5800X. A chip that has nothing left to prove, both for gaming and for everyday activities.

And with that, what do we play?
Inexpensive, such a configuration is faster than it seems for video games and office automation. Already, no problem playing in excellent conditions at 1080p, even at the latest AAA of the moment.
Very adept at managing Ray Tracing, the 4060 Ti works miracles if you manipulate the DLSS options a little: none of the main current competitive games resist it, and it is not the processor or the RAM that poses a problem. a problem at this level.
By reducing the refresh rate a bit (60 frames per second rather than 120), it is entirely possible to benefit from a higher resolution for the game. For solo adventures or less demanding titles, you can greatly increase up to 4K with this configuration.
No problem on the office side either: despite its low price, this PC can accommodate photo and video projects without flinching. If it is not designed for 3D modeling, it also allows you to learn the basics of 3DS Max or Unity.
