At Auto Plus, we like to give you the price of a car with all the options that its manufacturer offers. Today, we are tackling the Renault Captur.
Freshly restyled, the new Captur is available on Renault’s configurator. We took all the options and the most expensive in terms of finishes, of motorization et of equipment. Without further ado, let’s start with the base of the Captur.
Finishing and motorization
First of all, you should know that the Captur is available in three finishes. You have the basic finish whose introductory price is 24 900 euros. We decided to go for the highest finish, namely the “Alpine Spirit“. The price of our Captur has already gone up. at €32,100or 7,200 euros more than the basic version.
While previous versions offer an engine running on LPG, this is not the case for the Esprit Alpine version. Indeed, only two engines are available. A version mild hybrid petrol with its automatic gearbox offering 160 hp of power. The second is the motorisation E-Tech full hybrid 145 which we can find on other models in the range such as the Clio or the Arkana.
It is towards the latter that we have oriented ourselves. An engine that offers 145 hp and 250 Nm of maximum torque to the Renault Captur. With the E-Tech 145, the price of our Captur is 33 800 €. If we add to that the high-end finish, of course.
Customizing the Renault Captur
Once we have chosen the base of our Renault Captur, it is time to personalize it. And it must be said that Renault lets us lots of choice regarding color. In total, customers will have access to a palette of 16 colors. If the basic color “flame red” does not require any extra charge, for the rest, you will have to put your hand in your pocket. The financial effort that Renault is asking for is between €650 and €1,250. Obviously, for our Captur, we took one of the two most expensive colors, namely the iron blue color and its highland gray roof.
On the configurator, Renault lets us choose between two rim models. What is strange is that the 18-inch rims require an effort of 400 euros while as standard, the Captur comes with very nice 19-inch rims. However, in our search for the most optioned and most expensive Renault Captur on the market, we chose 18 inch rims.
As for the upholstery, however, we have no choice, so our Captur will be equipped with Alpine-style saddlery which does not require any additional charge.
Options and accessories
A lot of option packs and accessories are available for this Renault Captur. In the option packs, we can mention the 360° parking pack for €600 (360° camera, hands-free pack), the winter pack at €400 including heated front seats. You also have the safety and driving pack at €800 (adaptive cruise control, blind spot warning, etc.), the Harman Kardon audio system for €650the electric sunroof at 1000 € or even the temporary spare wheel at 200 €. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Indeed, you also have a lot of accessories and this is where the price of our Captur will take a serious hit. We took all the accessories, namely:
Running boards, 490 €
Quickfix roof bars, 240 €
480 litre roof box, 450 €
Rear protection for car seat, 100 €
Rear armrest, 150 €
