On a baby seat on the back of an electric bike or on a child on the handlebars, the Spad Fulap Junior rain cape serves as a reflective vest and is made from recycled plastic.
Rain gear on an electric cargo bike is practical in this fall season and with winter just around the corner. They exist for the cycling parent, but also for child passengers in the rear (or front). They too must be protected! The French brand Spad de Ville is launching a bicycle rain cape dedicated to them.
A clever and eco-friendly cycling rain cape
Storing solar energy has never been easier
No need to be an electrician to collect and store solar energy. Zendure’s Hyper 2000 is a Plug & Play solution that is very easy to install at home… and capable of generating up to 600 euros of electricity per year!
The Fulap Junior is a variation of the adult rain cape which is already in the catalog. The Grenoble firm offers it for children aged 0 to 12, covering the entire upper body with its hood, and can surround the seat back. Compatibility would be possible with all child and baby seats including Yepp, Thule, Hamax, Bobike and Polisport.
The Spad de Ville children’s rain cape is sold with its fluorescent yellow storage backpack. This can also hold the child’s helmet, and also serves as a reflective vest (remember: obligatory at night when cycling). Protection, safety, the Fulap Junior is also ecological. It is made from 100% recycled polyester, sourced from bottles.
The Spad de Ville Fulap Junior costs 69.99 euros, available on the official website or its partner resellers. The children’s bicycle rain cape also comes in four colors: yellow, red, green and blue.
